I thought this wouldn't happen until after little man had at least turned a year old. But at 7 months old little man got sick for the first time. He started throwing up at 11:30 pm and didn't stop until 4:30 am. I was up with him all night and I didn't go to sleep until 6 am. I have never felt more helpless than I did last night. I hate seeing him so sick. He's so little. We are trying to keep him hydrated. Please pray he feels better soon and that hubby and I will stay well. We are drinking "bitter water" to try and fight sickness. (that's another post)
I loved reading your comments on the different picture edits! I will have some more soon!

Oh no! Sorry to hear he is sick. Don't be afraid to take him in if he isn't keeping anything down to check for dehydration, they gave us an anti nausea med for James last year when he had it. Then he didn't have to have the IV for rehydration cause he could keep water down
ReplyDeletePraying for you and your little guy that strength will be yours! Have you tried giving him sips of Pedialite (sp?). When my youngest had the stomach flu, we gave him about a teaspoon full of pedialite every ten minutes. Some of it stayed in him, some didn't, but it definitely helped!
ReplyDeleteHoping your little guy feels better soon!
Big hugs to your little guy (and you)! I hope he's feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteOur family is getting over the same thing right now. Horrible. Fortunately my kids took fluids the very next day.
