How long have you been married? 7 years - January 18, 2003How many children do you have? ages? I have 2 children. Keegan is four and Presley is 15 months old.Are you a stay at home mom or a work at home mom? I am a stay at home mom and LOVE it. I pray I never have to go back to work!Do you have any hobbies? I have TOO MANY hobbies: scrapbooking, blogging, photography, sewingWhat is you best memory you have of your family? I have so many! But a very vivid memory I have of the four of us together is the day Presley was born. Keegan came into the hospital room and immediately was in awe of his little sister. He asked to hold her and once she was in her brother's lap, Presley's tiny fingers curled around Keegan's finger. Mike & I looked at one another and our eyes filled with tears. What is your favorite family vacation? As long as there is a beach, sun and warm weather we're in. We usually vacation in Gulf Shores, AL; however, this year we've decided to venture out towards the east coast in NC.What are some ways you practice frugality? I usually try to buy things on sale and rarely pay full price for anything. I've tried the coupon game and I just can't make myself sit down to gather them all before a grocery trip. I also by the store brand rather than the named brand a lot of times. What is your most embarrassing moment? There are lots of these as well - unfortunately. The first one that comes to mind is when I was in middle school. I was walking through the hallway with a huge group of kids and I was facing them, walking backwards talking. When I turned back around there was a metal pole that I ran smack into. I had braces at the time so I busted up my mouth pretty good. Of course, everyone laughed. What surprised you the most about marriage? How easy it is - for us anyhow. What surprised you the most about being a mom? Just how careful you have to be. Kids are little sponges soaking up anything and everything we do and say. I have to be on my "A" game all the time and it's a bit daunting at times. What is the hardest part about being a mom for you? Patience. I have none. No matter how many lessons God has tried to teach me regarding this virtue, I fail every time. What is the most rewarding part? The hugs, the kisses, the "I love you"s - the unconditional love as a whole. Theres' nothing like it!How long have you been blogging? I've been blogging since March of 2006. I actually started a family blog first to keep friends and family in the loop with the latest and greatest pictures and stories after Keegan was born. More recently, I started One Mom's Perfect Imperfection seeking a creative outlet for all the noise in my head. What is your reason for blogging? OOPS - I think I just answered that in the previous question. It's just plain fun! Truth is, I had no idea I'd get this into blogging. It's become somewhat of an obsession and I've had to keep myself in check on several occasions and remember what my priorities are. But I love that I can share my latest project, edited photo, or just thoughts and there are people out there that actually enjoy hearing what I have to say.Can you leave us a link of your favorite post from your blog? This is one of my all time favorite posts about my son and a lesson learned - by me. My Ball of Fire
