Little man today one year ago you graced us with your presence. For nine months I had watched my belly grow. I felt you move and hiccup with the anticipation of the day you would be born. You came into this world screaming and the look on your dad's face was one of unspeakable joy! So many had prayed and fasted for you. So many were excited to meet you! We couldn't get enough of your cute little nose, toes and the amazing smell of baby breath! I loved holding you and I wouldn't let them take you into the nursery unless absolutely necessary! We praised the Lord (and continue to) for the gift He gave us.
What a fun and exciting year it's been!! We love you! Happy Birthday!

He is so beautiful! I am glad you get to be his Mommy! What a blessing. Unspeakable joy. Isn't that the truth? Parenting is filled with so many unspeakably joyful moments.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, what's up with those newborn baby blankets? I think EVERY baby gets one exactly like that no matter which hospital they're born in or where they live. My son will be 22 years old at the end of this week and he came to me wrapped in one exactly like that.
