Today we have Angie from Help Meet To Sam blog.
How long have you been married?
How many children do you have? ages?
What is the one thing that if nothing else "sticks" you want your children to learn from you?
Are you a stay at home mom or a work at home mom?
Do you have any hobbies?
I love photography.
What is you best memory you have of your family?
The best memory I have of my family - would be the summers I spent in Puerto Rico with my grandmother. She invested alot of love and time in showing me how to cook, clean, wash dishes,
. She was preparing me to be the wife and mother I am today. I am just sad she was never able to see me do it!
What is your favorite family vacation?
My favorite family vacation was the time we went as a family with aunts, uncles, cousins to a cabin in the Poconos. It was so much fun to all be sleeping in the same house.
What are some ways you practice frugality?
I am faithful to write a meal chart out each week, with a list and I buy what is on my list. If it is not on the list it does not get purchased. So my children have become very faithful of being sure anything they need gets on the list or they go without for another week.
What is your most embarrassing moment?
Most embarrassing moment would be the time I was standing in line at a pharmacy and my second child, was like 3 or 4 years old and had discovered his body parts. Well behind us was a little boy about his same age and being curious he asked the little boy if he could see his. He wanted to see if it looked like his. The woman was appalled and stepped out of line as if we had some disease, though I apologized a thousand times and explained to Alex you just do not ask people questions like that. She still treated us like a plague.
What surprised you the most about marriage?
What surprised you the most about being a mom?
What surprised me most about being a mom is how not every problem that occurred had an easy or clear solution. I always tell my children they did not come with an instruction manual on what to do when they do this or that. The only manual I can rely on for direction is the Holy Bible! And even then I do not have enough wisdom to find answers sometimes...
What is the hardest part about being a mom for you?
Hardest part about being a mom is trying not to stand on my own understanding, facing each issue, or situation with a mindset of Christ. My heart is for them to see that I did things according to the Word - then and only then will I succeed. I never want to say" I did the best I could" basing my standards to what society establishes as "good" or " not good" or even comparing myself to how I was brought up.
Galatians 6:4
4 But each person should examine his own work, and then he will have a reason for boasting in himself alone, and not in respect to someone else.
What is the most rewarding part?
What is your dream job? If you could do absolutely anything...
Share with us 3 interesting facts about yourself that others may not know about.
