Last week hubby was working late and it was just little man and I at home. With pregnancy and chasing a 1 year old all day, 5:30 rolls around I am drained. This particular evening was no different. But little man decided that since daddy wasn't home he was going to show mommy his new tricks.
First it started with unraveling the toilet paper roll and getting into the trash can, while I was folding clothes. Then he climbed into the dishwasher.
And after dinner while I was cleaning dishes he decided to dump the rice all over the pantry floor.
Then he decided that just opening the cabinet doors wasn't enough he wanted the full experience...so he jumped inside them!
He is so curious about the world around him and I wouldn't change that part of his personality for the world! I can only imagine the trouble he and his little brother will be getting into. :)
This morning little man is getting tubes put into his ears. Hopefully this will stop or at least slow down the number of his ear infections. If you think about would you pray everything goes ok? I hate that this is his second surgery in a 6 month period!

ReplyDeleteI will definitely be praying that the surgery goes smoothly and recovery is quick!
Prayers for you and the little man! :) I'm sure he'll be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'll be thinking of him! Thank goodness its a super quick procedure!
ReplyDeletePraying for a smooth procedure! :)
ReplyDeleteAhh Boys! They are so busy and yes when both boys are working together there will be at least twice the fun.
ReplyDeleteI will have you all in my prayers for his tubes today. I understand the mommy worry. Hopefully he will be done with all of this before the baby joins you
He really showed you what he was made of didn't he. I had a ton of ear infections when I was little and had 2 sets of tubes put in my ears. I think i slept with a heating pad most nights. It is definitely painful but I hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteOh, we know how that is! I have six younger siblings, and the youngest are four boys under six. Luckily (for my mom) she's got me and my sisters to be helpers. My mom always said that when you have two littles (or you're pregnant) it's the hardest, because you have no helpers. :-)
ReplyDeleteHe is such a doll! Love the cabinet pictures. We've been there and are still dealing with the curiosity that comes with raising little boys. Glad everything went well with his surgery!
ReplyDeleteYou will be so happy when the tubes go in, My lil guy had tubes in his ears at 10 months old from constant ear infections. He has not had one since, and just this week we found out they fell out. They were in for about 18 months. It helped so much and you will see another GREAT side to your son. Seriously the best thing we ever did for our son, He will do awesome!! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteOh I just love those photos of him. And I will definitely be sending prayers your way! Good luck with everything!
ReplyDeleteyikes! I am almost on the verge of tubes too. I hope this morning wasn't so bad. My doc says ear infections should be non existent after the tubes...I hope that is true for little man!

What an adorable little boy! They just seem to get into everything sometimes. I know my dau-in-law is experiencing that as well. Her daughter is 2 and she is so fun though. Will be praying for little man and his ears. I know of children who've had tubes and they are doing well. So much better than lots of ear infections and sleepless nights. Hugs and prayers!
ReplyDeletei have been praying for Little Man through out the day. I accidentally left my phone at home so i was unable to tweet you but I have been praying for you all.
ReplyDeleteHe is in my prayers! Those pics of him in the cabinets are so cute!
ReplyDeleteSome people just don't get how much they can get in to!! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteSeeing as how it's after the fact now... I'm thinking he is done and possibly home already!! Hope so!! My son had these a few years ago. I hope they do help. They helped mine. ((HUGS))
