It's 11:00 AM and little man and I are still in our pjs. Little man was sick over the weekend, hubby was sick yesterday and it's my turn today! Nothing too bad but the body aches are the worst. It is impossible to get comfortable. I should be fine tomorrow but for today it's lots of couch time and soup.
I failed my 1 hour glucose screening and had to take the 3 hour on monday. I just received the phone call from the doctor and I didn't exactly pass or fail. She said a few of my numbers were borderline. Which means I have not been diagnosed with gestational diabetes but I have to start monitoring my blood sugar.
Hubby shared with me yesterday that he has a "surprise". If you know me you know I don't like surprises. But my sister (who is in on it) says I will love it.
Since Jr. High up until February of this year I highlighted my hair every 8 weeks. I decided my hair needed some rest, which has resulted in my hair becoming really soft and healthier but two tone. My highlighting fast will soon be coming to an end and I am so ready for it!
It's Christmas card season in the photography world which means it's about to get really busy. But I am doing what I love and can't wait to get out there and photograph!
Lately I've really been wishing that we had the wall space for a picture wall. Not one with a lot of pictures but with a few big pictures.
I'm excited about the blog hop tomorrow because I will be using a photo that actually ended up getting the ax the first time I went through and edited the session. But I recently was going back through and looking at the unedited photos from this particular session and there were a few that caught my eye.
It's time to get off the computer and make lunch for little man. Have a great day!

I hope you feel better soon! Mommies don't get sick days, do they?
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. We have all had the funk for a couple of weeks. I think we keep passing it around.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the pictures tomorrow.
I hope your blood sugar doesn't go past the borderlines. I had GD and my one recommendation is if you have to test just do a different finger and side of finger each time. :) I had to test 4 times a day so I had a whole system going. Makes it easier on the fingers.
ReplyDeleteI haven't highlighted my hair in about 8 years and I was actually thinking last night that I wanted to try it again. A girl that goes to my Bible study has such pretty highlights and her hair is similar in color to mine.
Can't wait to see your edit tomorrow!
Hope you feel 100% soon!!
Hopefully, when you do the test again it will come back normal :) I can't even imagine having to deal with that on top of being pregnant!
ReplyDeleteOh it certainly is never ever good being sick...hope that you got well rested today and are feeling better :)
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better and I can't wait to hear what the suprize is... so exciting!
