Our "camping" trip
One weekend in November we had a family camping trip. I use the term "camping" loosely. Ahem...
We stayed in a beautiful cabin close to a creek and the most gorgeous lake! There was lots of exploring.
Right after this family photo little man decided to throw his hat into the river. I did what any self respecting mom would do, I went after it. My husband thought I was literally diving in and he grabbed me. I was able to reach it without getting too wet. Now that would have been a great series of photos!
Little man had a lot fun looking for sticks, rocks, and whatever else he could find.
There were lots of fun activities. We rode a little train through the woods and saw several deer and armadillo. My sister and cousin opted for the horse trail instead.
The cabin was so cozy. I forgot to take a picture of the hot springs...er..I mean hot tub on the back porch. We had chili for dinner that had been cooking in the crock pot all day. So good!
Little man of course would have been happy just eating blueberries.
We decided to make this an annual trip. We had so much fun. Next time the boys are going to go fishing and the girls well, we'll enjoy the hot springs. ;)
